My name is Alvaro Augusto and as far as I remember, I always loved art. Growing up I was always drawing, sculpting, building, etc., and school science fairs were my favorite time of the year.

 

In the year of 2000 everything started to change. I met this great artist in New York named Michael Miller. Mike taught me amazing things. His main work was casting fake food for TV commercials and magazines. All the jobs required a lot of patience and dedication to get the most perfect looking real food which consisted of lots of sculpting, sanding and casting that was necessary to bring the best product for the lenses.

Today I have my own workshop where I can create custom engraved cutting boards and dedicate all my time on my pieces.
